TV Shows Donating PPE to Hospitals

Television shows about fictional hospitals and doctors have gained popularity over the years. Many medical dramas have a huge fandom, and the shows have even inspired viewers to become medical professionals themselves. The props team from many of these shows are donating their supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals in an effort to replenish their dwindling supplies.

Some of the shows to help with donations thus far include:

Healthcare workers worry that the US does not have an adequate amount of stockpiled PPE like face masks, gloves, and gowns. We can all help do our part by donating PPE items to fulfill the anticipated need of our healthcare system. Check your attic or  basement, your emergency kit, toolkit, or your workbench for N95 masks or surgical masks. Disposable booties, safety goggles, and disposable suits are also in short supply. If you have these things or know someone who might (HVAC installers, construction workers, etc.) please share this site with them to encourage local donations to medical workers on the frontlines.

For those of us who are non-essential workers and on a WFH schedule, please continue to DO YOUR PART and stay home so that those on the frontlines can do their part! As an homage to the medical drama genre, here are a few other links of TV shows to watch while you are social distancing.
